Have you every wondered what it would be like to have a BFF, that can read your expression and know what you are thinking? Or a trusted co-worker that can finish your sentences? Sara and Tara Cole, Center Directors for two of our Educare Academy locations in Toledo, Ohio, are just that lucky! We recently chatted with the identical twins to understand a day in the life of these sisters who live two houses apart and have both chosen early childhood education as their career.

The Cole sisters began their child care careers while in high school, both choosing a curriculum “block” in early childhood education. Tara and Sara both began their careers as teachers and 26 years later for Sara, 25 for Tara, are still loving their career choice!

Sara has enjoyed mentoring and training her older sister Tara (older by 3 minutes)when she was promoted to Center Director. As a new Center Director, Tara, a mother of four, and loves being a sounding board for her parents.

Though the two have never pulled any “Parent Trap” pranks, they both mentioned that when they are out in the community they often get hugs, waves and hellos from the center families and children mistaking one sister for the other.

We wanted to put their “twinness” to the test and see how well they could answer questions about their sister(Newlywed Game style). Enjoy their answers 🙂
